Monte Rosa

The Monte Rosa massif, which culminates at 4634 meters with Punta Dufour, dominates a series of welcoming valleys. With over 20 peaks that exceed 4000 meters in altitude, Monte Rosa is the highest massif in Europe and a paradise for climbers. Among them was also Ambrogio Damiano Achille Ratti, who later became Pope Pius XI.
