Pedaso Lungomare dei Cantautori Photo by Giuseppe Baldassarri. SEAFRONT Pedaso beach is the only one in the entire Picene coast to record the presence of pebble material and its coastline has natural rocks with the most diverse names given to them for their appearance or for the link with ancient stories.  To animate the rhythms of the beach are the chalets which, in addition to hospitality, organize various activities to make the stay of adults and children pleasant and enjoyable. Along the "Lungomare dei singer-songwriters of the twentieth century", it is possible to walk along the beach for about two kilometers on a path accessible by underpasses dedicated to songwriters of our time: Fabrizio De Andrè, Giorgio Gaber, Luigi Tenco, Pierangelo Bertoli;  Domenico Modugno, Sergio Endrigo, Lucio Battisti. The small port, built near the mouth of the Aso river, is a mooring dock for small-scale fishing operators and pleasure boats, it is also a small market where every morning you can buy fresh fish.  Near the sea, the public gardens with the scent of flowers, the green of the meadows and the fragrance of essences are the ideal place to rest the soul and body.

Description Types of tourism : [ Seaside tourism ] [ Top-Rated Beach Destinations in Italy . Surrounded on three sides by water and with two offshore islands larger than some countries, it's no wonder Italy is famed for its beaches. Whatever your taste in beach resorts, you're likely to find it somewhere here. Long stretches of fine golden sand are lapped by the Mediterranean, the Adriatic, and several smaller seas. Beaches in little secluded coves are guarded by rocky headlands that hide them from all but those who know where to look. Europe's tallest dunes protect white beaches that are nearly empty, even in August. The walls of medieval towns look down on sandy strands, and Art Nouveau resort towns are redolent of Belle Epoch gentility. Take your pick. Join crowds in the boisterous fun of unabashedly overcrowded scenes at Viareggio, Rimini, or Lido in Venice—or take a local boat to your own private pink-sand cove off the fabled Costa Smeralda in Sardinia. Stretch out on a sunbed at the private beach of a luxurious resort hotel or slip into something chic and saunter along Italian Riviera promenades where royalty once strolled.
