Medieval village Borgo Marano

Photo from Borgo Marano by @giuseppebaldassarri The Marches is an Italian region.
From the castle through the hilly crest, going west and turning north, you enter the medieval village of Marano meeting Villa Grisostomi, the medieval church of Santa Maria in Castello, Palazzo Sforza, the archaeological museum of the territory, the church of the Annunziata which houses  the artistic permanent nativity scene of Spanish art, and finally the church of the Suffragio with the marvelous altarpiece of the "Deposition".  You then go back to the Marina passing through Porta Maggiore to stop at the collegiate church of San Basso and admire the extraordinary triptych by Vittore Crivelli and the vault entirely painted by Giuseppe Pauri in the 1930s.  Going down, you can admire the scenic staircase built by the architect Vespignani and then enter Piazza della Libertà with the Palazzo del Municipio in front of it with the splendid clock tower designed by Sacconi.
