The calendar of testimonies, films and virtual appointments dedicated to the history and traditions of the Venetian Carnival is ready to go. from the parade of the 'twelve Marys' to the Flight of the Angel, from the most famous masks to costumes and disguises, from theater to transgression Venice will offer a series of events in streaming which, from 6 to 7 February, and then from 11 to 16 February - from 5 pm, for about an hour and a half - will bring entertainment, improvisations, disguises, and music broadcast from Ca 'Vendramin Calergi, the palace overlooking the Grand Canal, seat of the Venice Casino. A succession of interviews, curiosities and stories about the present and past Carnival will be broadcast live on the Carnival website and on its social channels.
Every day during the episodes, and then on social networks, the in-depth Carnival Stories will allow you to discover, through 40 short videos, the protagonists of the Carnival: artists, artisans, costume designers, and together with them the places of the Carnival, from museums to theaters , from ateliers to mask workshops, from shops to restaurants, to 'bàcari' (taverns), to pastry shops and cafes where you can appreciate the delicacies typical of this period.
