The Italian garden

@itravelinitaly_com #italy The Italian garden https://posts.gle/coh92 Valdaso: a territory of excellence called "The Garden of the Marches". The Aso Valley is a magnificent area interspersed with historic glimpses of medieval villages and the Sibillini Mountains, covered with snow even in spring, which form the backdrop to a landscape of enchanting colors with farmhouses, woods, orchards in bloom, vineyards, vegetable gardens and  lush fields. A territory whose inhabitants have managed to preserve the specificities both in cultural and natural terms: places, traditions, eno-gastronomic products, festivals and folkloristic festivals. It develops in the southern part of the Marche for a length of about 70 km and is characterized by the sea, rolling hills and the Sibillini, following the course of the Aso river, which rises between Monte Porche and Cima della Prata and flows into the Adriatic Sea. This heterogeneous valley is made up of several municipalities with ancient histories and traditions that are still alive, such as that of Campofilone, famous throughout the world for its "Maccheroncini IGP".  It also boasts two of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy": Moresco and Montefiore dell’Aso, towns steeped in history where you can still breathe a medieval atmosphere today. In addition to the architectural beauties and the historical-cultural and archaeological richness, such as that found in the "La Cuma" Archaeological Area of Monte Rinaldo, the Aso Valley has a particularly popular food and wine culture that is also widespread abroad. Local cuisine delicacies are “Fried Olives stuffed with ciauscolo” which have been handed down from generation to generation since 1800;  the "Tagliatella Fritta", born from the idea of a Monterubbianese cook, is one of the typical and tastiest dishes in the area.  Other characteristic food and wine products are the Ciauscolo, the IGP Salame from the Marche region and the Carassanese Sausage which reach a higher level if accompanied by a fine glass of red wine. The agricultural production vocation of peaches, apricots and plums transform the landscape in spring into an explosion of colors. itravelinitaly.com  would like to receive your feedback.  Share and Post a review on our profile.
