LEGENDS OF SIROLO

It is a very suggestive legend that tells the birth of Sirolo: the God who painted and traced the lines of the Adriatic coast, started from the North, towards Trieste and in his descent towards the South as far as the Gargano, he lost a pearl in the sea.  That pearl is precisely Sirolo not surprisingly called the Pearl of the Adriatic. THE BEAM the long scogli del trave, almost a visiting card for Sirolo, is an ancient and rather unusual geological formation because it extends into the sea for almost a kilometer in length.  For much of its extension it emerges from the water and is easily visible so much so that the ancients thought it reached the shores of Croatia crossing the entire Adriatic, almost a bridge then collapsed by human wickedness and the inability to live peacefully.
