Venice, the charm of getting lost.

Venice, the charm of getting lost.

No matter how many times you have already seen it, Venice is pure magic, one of those cities that always excites you like the first time, or at least this is the effect it has on me.  Generally I don't like to go back to the same places, I prefer destinations never explored yet Venice has something that attracts and enchants me, so much so that I never get tired.

On a cold and foggy morning in December we left for a weekend to rediscover the city of high water and its beauties.
Venice is fascinating in all seasons but in winter it has another flavor, when the fog rises from the lagoon and envelops its alleys, bridges and squares, you find yourself in a rarefied world.  Especially at night, between the dark and deserted alleys and the reflections of the lanterns in the water, it seems to travel back in time, you can breathe an atmosphere that is both romantic and nostalgic that conceals a mysterious charm.
