Riviera delle Palme San Benedetto del Tronto.
Itineraries in the Marche RIVIERA DELLE Palme.
The name Riviera delle Palme comes to life from the territory that characterizes this area, rich in palm trees. The Riviera delle Palme is the tourist area of the Marche coast which includes these municipalities:
San Benedetto del Tronto
The pride of the Riviera delle Palme is undoubtedly San Benedetto del Tronto, with its beautiful seafront of about six kilometers. In addition to the hundreds of palm trees there are also many green oases, fountains, recreational and leisure areas and even a very modern cycle path. It is a renowned and very popular seaside resort, as well as being one of the most important fishing ports in the Mediterranean. The city boasts a long beach of fine white sand that slopes gently into the sea, characterized by shallow waters. Chosen by the Fee among the 17 European Blue Flag municipalities in the Marche region.
Grottammare
Defined by many as the pearl of the Adriatic, Grottammare is a tourist resort that boasts a wonderful landscape, as well as ancient historical and cultural memories. One of the Marche seaside resorts with more awards, among which the Blue Flag, the Three Sails in the Legambiente Blue Guide and the diploma of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy stand out. Its beach, more than five kilometers long, is flanked by a beautiful promenade, where palm trees, oranges and oleanders stand out.
Cupra Marittima
A beautiful town to visit, both for its beautiful sea and its sandy beaches, which have a unique flora and vegetation, so much so that it is called the "Maritime Dune". The main feature of this town is the pine forest, an area protected by the Marche Region, which runs along the beach. Over the years the city has received important awards such as the Blue Flag of the Marche, an award given to Cupra Marittima for the cleanliness of its sea.
The localities that belong to the Riviera delle Palme area: San Benedetto del Tronto, Grottammare, Ripatransone, Offida, Acquaviva Picena, Montepandrone and Accumoli.

Best Time to Visit
Spring (April - June): Mild temperatures and blooming landscapes make this an excellent time for both cities and countryside.
Autumn (September - October): Cooler temperatures, fewer crowds, and harvest season for food and wine make autumn ideal.
Winter (December - February): This is the best time for skiing in the Dolomites or visiting popular cities with fewer tourists.
How to Get There
1. By Air: Italy has several international airports, with Rome, Milan, and Venice being the main entry points.
2. By Train: Italy is connected to other European countries by high-speed trains, and once in Italy, the train network makes travel between cities easy.
3. By Car: Renting a car is ideal for exploring rural regions like Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, and Sicily. However, Italian cities are best explored without a car.
