Located between Corso Serpente Aureo and Via Roma, it is the main square of Offida and is very particular because it has an unusual triangular shape. This aspect dates back to the second half of the 1700s, when some existing hospitals were demolished and the new Collegiate Church was built on the left side. After the unification of Italy it was named after Vittorio Emanuele II, while in 1994 it took the name of Piazza del Popolo. Rich in monuments ranging from the Town Hall, to churches, to noble palaces, still today, as in the past, it is the heart of city life.
