Verona Place medieval Verona is most definitely worth stopping to spend a few hours on your way to Venice. ... I agree with the other opinions of Verona. I think it's a beautiful city and worth spending a few hours in. It's small and very walkable so you will be able to get a really good feel of it in a short time. Click here for a map.
