arch of the 14th century Clock Tower
Via Speranza and you can take advantage of the arch of the 14th century Clock Tower, an ancient and only way to enter the castle. The tower-door houses the Municipal Photo Library, a gallery of images from the mid-19th century until 1945 documenting the history of the area and its people. Externally the tower is connected to an elegant sixteenth-century portico covered with cross vaults.
