Petritoli Porta Petrania

Petritoli leads to the town through a door composed of three Gothic arches enclosed between two cylindrical towers of the fifteenth century. It was obtained from the demolition of the ancient Petrania gate. Of the ancient access doors, there is also the backward arch in Largo Tre Archi and the fifteenth-century door at the beginning of the Borgo Vecchio, where there are buildings with arched portals, fourteenth-century terracotta or terracotta frames, as well as fortifications Gothic (14th-15th centuries). Along via del Teatro, Via dei Muraglioni and along the road called Sotto le Ripe there are still large portions of the defense walls, built in the fifteenth century and reconsolidated over time.
