On that historic day, the first landing of a man on the moon, all of us children of the Boom Generation, we were watching TV with our parents and taking a look at the surprised and excited moon over what would have happened. On July 20, 1969, the three American Apollo 11 astronauts landed on the moon. A few hours later, mission commander Neil Armstrong laid his first human foot on lunar soil: "This is a small step for man, a giant leap for humanity." All this is a strong memory of my childhood, which I will take with me.
